  • Risk of Low Blood Pressure and Fainting: Prazosin may cause dizziness or fainting, particularly when standing up quickly from a sitting or lying position due to rapid changes in blood pressure (orthostatic hypotension). Dizziness is most likely to occur within 90 minutes of taking the medication.
